Technology and Society
Course Overview
Students are required by Scotland’s GTC to have an industrial experience placement as part of their programme of study. This course aims to provide experience in an industrial or commercial context together with an opportunity to observe forms of technology and technological systems. The course also seeks to help students engage with the meanings associated with technology and to encourage critical thought on technology and its relation to society.
