Entry Requirements
A-levels (Rest of the UK)

Other mandatory requirements: Must include Technology or a science subject and preferably Maths. GCSE English Language and Literature. Interview. Disclosure Scotland.
Higher Grades (Scotland)

Standard academic entry requirements: S5 entry requirement = AAAB. S6 entry requirement = AAABB

Other mandatory requirements: Must include English Higher at Grade B and Maths at National 5. Interview. Disclosure Scotland.
International Baccalaureate (International)

Standard academic entry requirements: 36 points.

Minimum academic entry requirements: 32 points.

Other mandatory requirements: Must include 3 HL subjects at 6,6,5. English and a humanities subject or language are required at either HL6 or SL7. Interview. Disclosure Scotland.
We welcome applications from mature students (aged 25+) who may not meet the entry tariff but have experience in engineering or other related disciplines. You must still have SCQF Level 6 English (Higher Grade) as this is a GTCS requirement.

If you are accepted to a teaching degree you must undertake a Criminal Conviction / PVG check prior to enrolment. It is your responsibility to pay for the check. Details will be sent to you.
