Internal Transfers from within The University of Glasgow

Transfer Requirements
You will need to have:
Minimum Highers: AAB/ABBB including English (normally at B) and preferably Mathematics and a technology or science subject.
Satisfactory completion of your Year One studies.
Transfer Process

Contact the Programme Leader and indicate your interest in transferring

Inform your current (School) Chief Adviser of Studies that you want to transfer

Student transfers are invited to an interview

The Chief Adviser of Studies at the School of Education will initiate a transfer request

Student enrolment and induction begins circa September
Disclosure Scotland
If you are accepted to a teaching degree you must undertake a Criminal Conviction / PVG check prior to enrolment. It is your responsibility to pay for the check. Details will be sent to you.
Programme Access Routes
You can apply to join Year 1 on the Programme or you can apply to transfer directly into Year 2. These options will be explained to you when you contact the Programme Leader.
