Course Overview

 

This course aims to develop sufficient mathematical skills in the students to enable them to use the mathematics required to teach technology in schools, and also cope with the mathematics in other cognate subjects on the course. Students join the degree with a variety of mathematical backgrounds and this module allows them to work at their own pace to develop the basic mathematical skills they require. This course supports areas of mathematics required in other subjects on the course, such as  Electronics, Engineering Mechanics and Materials and Processes.
