Course Overview

This course provides students with an introduction to design, design theory and design techniques. It also provides a first engagement with the history of design and schools of design. It aims to extend students’ awareness and understanding of design and the processes of design. It looks to support the development of related design and communications skills. The course provides an opportunity for creativity within a design context.
